President's Welcome Message
It is my great honor and privilege to welcome you all with much felicitations to the opening of Academic Year 2018-2019. I am particularly happy to welcome the Grade 1, Grade 7 and Grade 11 students, who are from the institution last school year and doubly happy to welcome the new students of La Consolacion College of Daet.

I can’t even begin to describe how important it is for you to take advantage of and exploit the facilities and resources offered by this school. It is a famous adage that “to a certain extent you could say learning at this school is learning to succeed”. Your hopes and dreams will be realized and achieved if you truly take your studies seriously and with dedication. You will discover that the knowledge to acquire is vast. It is found in the different classes you are going to attend, in the piles of books accessible to you in our library, in the internet laboratories that accompany most of the general academic subjects. We have Science laboratories, TLE laboratory, computer internet laboratory, speech laboratory and huge library. Maximize its use for you to broaden your knowledge.
There are lots of things you can do and achieve in this school to harness your potentials, talents and skills. There is a wide array of school activities and events which you can join for you to develop your personality, leadership and most of all your self confidence.
Study very well, discipline yourselves, don’t lean back in class and laze around. If that will be your attitude you might fall behind. Set a good timetable, plan your studies (develop your study habit at night before the next day of classes) feed you hunger for knowledge by exploring the different resources around you. Start to shape your future and you will live and grow.
This school year, we, the administration, teachers and staff of LCCD are committed to give you our best. We would like you to develop your prayer life that as you long to God in prayer you may be nourished by the word of God that you read and hear everyday, take it by heart my dear students. The Word of God in the Bible or Holy Scriptures is our spiritual food that will satisfy our hunger and longing for real happiness.
To become truly and Augustinian Catholic Students read and reflect the words in the Bible, same as you read your textbooks. Balance your time for studying, surfing on the internet and using your gadgets. Social media is very important but if you don’t use it properly you will be enslaved by your gadgets and it will ruin your lives. Use it responsibly.

Looking forward for your fruitful School Year 2018-2019. God bless you all!
